Abbey Grace is napping still and it is almost 4 o'clock!! I had to wake her up very early this morning and she has had a long day!
We had her check up today at MUSC for High Risk assessment follow up.
She is doing very well for someone who stated out in life at 2.5 lbs and 11oz.
She has great Motor skills, and of course tipped the scales in the cute and sassy department!
She was blowing kisses to everyone, and was acting like a diva!
We are going to set up a few appointments to check her language skills, hearing assessment (which is a normal preliminary to speech...we don't suspect any hearing issues..)
We will also see a pediatric dentist at MUSC, to be sure that she is developing all of her teeth..another issue not uncommon with Premature births.
Overall, my petite 19lb 8 oz 19 month old is just getting along great!
We are waiting anxiously for July 14Th to get here...A special day for two reasons..It would have been my Grandmother Oliver's 92ND birthday, and after she passed last month, we got a call from our attorney to give us the court date for the final adoption hearing..JULY 14Th, 2010
We are so ready and so excited..We love you Abigail Grace Dockweiler!
